Accessing the Tool

To access the Inquiry Import Tool, navigate your web browser to https://selfservice.mobap.edu and log in. Click on the Inquiry Import Tool icon under the Admissions heading.


If you do not see this icon and you think you should, notify the IT helpdesk to gain access.

Using the Tool

On the Home page of the tool, you will be presented with the option to select a Format for the import.

Currently, there are three formats available:

  • Carnegie
  • Student Paths
  • College Fair (Scanner Leads)


Additionally, you can choose to view previously uploaded import jobs by clicking on the Import Job Search tab.

Uploading a File

To upload a new inquiry import file, make sure you are on the Home tab.

  1. Select an import format from the drop down and press the Submit button.
  2. Click the Browse button and navigate to your inquiry import file.

Files for upload MUST be in .CSV format.


  1. Once you have successfully selected your file, press the Upload button.
  2. Your file will be uploaded and staged in CAMS for import. You will then be presented with a record-level view of the staged import.
  3. You can use the Delete button to remove particular records from the import, if necessary.

Search for a Job

Records for a particular import are stored in jobs. You can retrieve a list of jobs that have not yet been imported into CAMS by clicking on the Import Job Search button in the navbar.


From here, you can see several pieces of information about the import job:

  • Job ID - A unique identifier for the job
  • Job Name - The name that is displayed for the job
  • Job Description - The name of the import file
  • Insert User - The user who uploaded the file
  • Insert Date - The date the file was uploaded

You also have the option to select the job and see all the records within it (by pressing the icon) or delete the entire job (and all records inside of it) by pressing the icon.
