The EBB Feed Builder is designed to allow an easy way to publish content to Electronic Bulletin Boards (EBBs) around campus.  The particular use case discussed in this guide is to create a slide for Admissions that welcomes visitors to the campus based on the following information:

  • Name
  • Hometown (or High School, group, etc.)
  • Visit date/time

Getting to the EBB Feed Builder

  1. Navigate your web browser to
  2. Log in using your email address and password
  3. Under Admissions, select EBB Feed Builder.  NOTE: If you do not see this option, please submit a helpdesk ticket to gain access.

Using the EBB Feed Builder Tool

There are three main sections to using this tool:

  1. Navigation Bar
  2. Visit Form
  3. Visits Table

Navigation Bar

The Navigation Bar is the light-gray bar at the top of the page with three buttons: HomeDefault Message, and Preview.

  • Home - Returns you to the screen that you are on when you first open the tool.  From here you can add new visits and edit/delete visits that have already been created.
  • Default Message - Allows you to edit the default message that will appear when no visitors are scheduled to be on campus.
  • Preview - Allows you view what the slide will look like based on the information you've entered.

Visit Form

This form allows you to enter a NameHometown (school, group, etc.), and a Visit Date/Time for a particular visitor.

Submit the form by clicking the Add Visit button.  The newly added visit will be reflected in the Visit Table below.  

Visit Table

The default table which is presented to the user reflects Upcoming Visitors. Visitors remain in this table until 30 minutes after their scheduled appointment time.

Past Visitors reflects all past visits to the university.

Using the navigation in the top right of the Visit Table section allows you to toggle between Upcoming and Past visitors.
