Step-by-step guide


Step 1

Navigate to https://outlook.office.com or log into MyMBU (https://mymbu.mobap.edu) and click the email link.

Step 2

If you are not already signed in, you will be redirected to the Microsoft Sign In page. Enter your MBU credentials to login.



Step 3

You will now see the Outlook Web Application. Click on your name in the upper right hand corner, and select "Open another mailbox..."


Step 4

Type in the name of the shared mailbox you would like to access. Select it from the drop down and click "Open"


Step 5

A new browser tab will open OWA for the shared mailbox.

 

If you attempt to open a mailbox you do not have permission to access, you will recieve a 500 error like the one below.

Step 3

You will now see the Outlook Web Application. Right-click on the "Folders" menu in the list on the left side of your screen. Select "Add shared folder."


Step 4

Type in the name of the shared mailbox you would like to access. Select it from the options shown and click "Add."


Step 5

You should see the shared mailbox in your list of mailbox options on the left side of the application shortly thereafter.
